What we stand for

Vision
🌍 Our Vision

A world where Alzheimer's cannot erase who you are.

We envision care systems that treat every person with dementia as a full human being — someone with history, personality, and belonging that deserves to be honoured for a lifetime.

💜 Our Mission

Human-centred programs that preserve dignity and connection.

Through structured clinical programs, community support, and digital tools, we make identity-centred care accessible to every family navigating Alzheimer's — regardless of geography or income.

Mission
Our Journey

How we got here

A journey driven by purpose, compassion, and community.

2026

RANI Founded

Born from a personal Alzheimer's journey, RANI began as a small support group in Chennai — one family's grief becoming a community's purpose.

2020

First Programs Launch

Music & Memory and Life Story Work programs launched, serving 40 families in Year 1 and establishing our identity-centred care model.

2021

National Expansion

Expanded to 5 cities across India with 200+ active families and 15 specialist facilitators — our network growing through trust.

2022

Research Partnership

Partnered with NIMHANS for a landmark study on identity-centred care outcomes in dementia, validating our approach through evidence.

2023

Digital Platform

Launched the RANI digital platform, enabling remote access to programs for rural families and bridging the urban-rural care gap.

2024

Global Recognition

Recognised by WHO as a model patient-centred dementia care initiative in South Asia — a milestone belonging to every family we serve.

Every family deserves to be
seen and supported.

Whether you are caring for a loved one, practising as a clinician, or looking to support our work — there is a place for you in the RANI community.
